On Point, Karl Lagerfeld

on point

I have always trusted Karl Lagerfeld’s idea on fashion – “Go either very cheap or very expensive. It’s the middle ground that is fashion nowhere.” It is quoted by the fabulous Fashion Toast  and myself whose raison d’être is fashion.  Les Musiques of Karl Lagerfeld always inspires me, as does all of Chanel; it is every aspect of Karl Lagerfeld’s life that I find so completely engulfing.   For this reason I was excited to hear about another Karl necessity – 2B PENCILS

Being who I am, it would not be a shock if I was caught at Blick art store tomorrow stocking up on these lead gems.  We’ve all used them in foundation drawing – yawn – but now we can use them again without feeling the pressure of asymmetrical lines and perfectly drawn eyes.  Can you say W.W.K.D five times fast?

OMG…he might be a fashion God, but Karl Lagerfeld looks like such a Sith Lord in those boots and that cape thing. Are you sure those pencils aren’t really lightsabers in disquise?
